Product description

Our CLIP'N'SHADE outdoor roller blind is now also available made to measure! If our standard sizes, which you can find here are not enough, you have the possibility to order our product exactly to the millimeter. It is important that you correctly determine the width of the order. How to do this, you will learn in the next section.

THE ADVANTAGES OF OUR OUTDOOR ROLLER BLIND:
The CLIP'N'SHADE outdoor roller blind is a clampable roller blind that effectively protects the home from heat. It is simply clamped into the window with the help of five clips - the installation takes only a few minutes and can be done by anyone independently. No scaffolding is needed for the installation, as it can be done from the inside. Of course, there is no need to drill or screw into the window or facade. Because it is attached to the outside of the window, the special heat protection fabric reflects the heat rays of the sun. The heat input is thus reduced by over 90% and it remains cool in the apartment!

How do I specify my determined desired width? 

If you have determined your desired width correctly as described below, select the next larger order width here in the dropdown. You have determined that your desired width is 84.5cm? Then select 90cm. Now choose the right case color and put the product into the shopping cart. If you have all products in your shopping cart, you can click on "Checkout". In the next step you enter your address. Here you can now tell us in the comments field to which size your outdoor blind should be cut to size.
IMPORTANT: If you choose an order size that is too small, we will unfortunately have to cancel your order. If you have difficulties choosing the right size or ordering the right product, you can contact us at any time.

How do I determine my desired width?

The determination of your desired width is actually quite simple. The prerequisite is that your reveal width (see picture) is less than 150cm. If the reveal width is greater than 140cm, you can simply mount two of our external roller blinds next to each other. The reveal width is the width of the masonry opening for the window, i.e. from masonry left to masonry right.
IMPORTANT: Always measure the reveal width in several places (top, middle, bottom). Then take the smallest measured dimension as the reveal width.

How do I choose I the suitable height?

1. In height, all our roller blinds are very flexible, so you only need to choose the right range (eg: 91-140cm). By means of the telescopic guide rails you then set the exact height during installation.
2. Measure the clear window height of your (open!) window as shown in the picture. IMPORTANT: The window frame must be visible at least 1.5cm above the outside!
3. Select the appropriate area from the drop-down menu.

Fits the Exterior blind also to my window?

Our outdoor roller blind fits 90% of all windows - but there are a few exceptions that you should check before placing your order:

1. Your window must be able to open. If it is a fixed glazing, our external roller blind can not be installed.
2. Windows with skylights or sidelights. Skylights are additional window units above or below your main window. Often the installation of our external blinds is still possible. However, please contact us before placing your order.
3. Cane overturnThe overlap is the outermost elevation of your window frame profile. For plastic windows usually about 1.5-2.5 cm. Important: If a rubber seal is present, please measure it as well. Is your overlap greater than 2.5 cm please contact us via the contact form. You can find a picture of how to measure the stick overlap here:
   
4. Wooden window with rain railA rain channel is a thin metal profile on your window frame. It replaces the stick overlap and is intended to prevent water from entering the window. Often a CLIP'N'SHADE can be mounted anyway - please contact us in any case via the contact form. You can find a picture of a rain rail here:
   
5. Wooden window with weatherboard: A weatherstrip is a protruding profile on the window sash that is designed to prevent water from entering the window. Actually a great thing, but hinders the installation of our blind. If the weather bar extends beyond the profile of the window frame, our CLIP'N'SHADE exterior roller blind unfortunately cannot be installed. You can find a picture of a weather bar here:
   

Exchange and revocation

Since this product is a custom-made, the product is completely excluded from revocation, exchange or return. The legal warranty obligation of 2 years remains of course.
