ATTENTION: The motor cannot be installed on balcony doors. The maximum possible roller blind height at which the motor can be installed is 160cm.

With your smart CLIP'N'SHADE outdoor roller blind, you can conveniently control your roller blind remotely - via remote control, via the app of your smart home or via voice assistant. The times when you had to get up and open the window to operate your roller blind are finally over. This way, heat can no longer get into your home even when you adjust your roller blind. You already own a CLIP'N'SHADE outdoor roller blind? No problem! Of course you can motorize your existing roller blind at any time and easily with our motor component.

The motor component contains a rechargeable battery radio motor, a charger and a radio remote control (433 MHz). This additional component can be retrofitted to existing CLIP'N'SHADE exterior blinds or ordered as an add-on for new exterior blinds. The rechargeable battery lasts for up to 350 load changes - depending on use, this corresponds to up to one year. The motor is conveniently charged with the supplied charging cable. The blind does not have to be dismantled for this, but can simply be connected to the charger. The charging time is approx. 4-6 hours.

To motorise the external blind, the motor component is inserted into the bottom of the connecting profile. For this purpose, the CLIP'N'SHADE exterior blind must be dismantled. The motor component operates the handle strip by means of a 0.8 mm thick cable and thus pulls the roller blind down or moves it up. When the blind is open, the cable is in the field of vision.

The motor component is available in white and grey - it is best to choose it in the same colour as your CLIP'N'SHADE exterior blind.

The motor is operated via the supplied radio remote control. This is already programmed to the motor when you receive it and can reach the motor from any room in your home.

In addition, a Smart Home gateway can be added, which can also be used to operate the roller blind via smartphone or voice assistant (Alexa, Google Home). This is connected to a socket in the same room as the outdoor roller blind and connected to your Wi-Fi network - you can control your roller blind via app and voice command and adjust it continuously.
