Das CLIP‘N‘SHADE Außenrollo für Balkontüren ist genauso aufgebaut wie das External roller blind for windows. This is a clamp-on roller blindthat the flat effectively protects against heat. It is simply clipped into the window using five clips. Because it is attached to the outside of the window, the special Heat protection fabric the heat rays of the sun. The heat input is thus reduced by over 90%.
Unser Außenrollo für Balkontüren gibt es nur mit einem Stoff: Halbtransparent. Hierbei handelt es sich um ein spezielles Hitzeschutzgewebe, welches über 95% der Hitzestrahlung der Sonne abhält. Das Gewebe stellt eine Mischung aus unserem transparenten und unserem blickdichten Stoff dar. Es wirkt abdunkelnd, aber nicht komplett verdunkelnd.

How to choose I the suitable Size?

Product width

1. Measure as shown in the second product image. You are welcome to send us a picture of your window (from the outside) and we will draw in where you need to measure.
2. Add the width dimensions together. This gives you the total reveal width - this is crucial for choosing the right product width. Alternatively, you can also determine the reveal width as shown in the picture below.
3. Now round off the width to the next possible size - done!
   Example:
   Frame width right: 3cm
   Frame width left: 4cm
   Clear window width: 94
   Soffit width: 3 + 4 + 94 = 101cm --> To the next suitable width round offOrder width = 100cm

How to determine your reveal width

Product height

1. There is only one height for balcony doors - this covers all heights between 140cm and 220cm.

Do you have a double-leaf balcony door?
Dann benötigst Du ein Außenrollo je Flügel. Kombiniere unsere Standardbreite so, dass beide Flügel gut verschattet sind, aber gleichzeitig nebeneinander in die Laibung (=Gesamtbreite der Mauerwerksöffnung) passen. Hast Du Beispielsweise eine Laibungsbreite von ca. 210cm. So empfehlen wir zwei 100cm Rollos nebeneinander zu installieren. Solltest Du Hilfe beim Ausmessen und Bestellen benötigen, kannst Du uns jederzeit kontaktieren! Sende uns hierzu bestenfalls ein Bild Deiner Balkontüre und die wichtigsten Maße dazu. Wir antworten in der Regel innerhalb eines Werktages.

Which colour should I choose?

Wir empfehlen die Farbe des Außenrollos möglichst passend zu Deinen Fenstern zu wählen. Für weiße Fenster (70% in Deutschland) dementsprechend weiße Rollos - für graue Fenster oder Holzfenster graue Rollos.

Fits the External roller blind also on mine Balcony door?

Unser Außenrollo passt bei 90% aller Fenster bzw. Balkontüren – es gibt jedoch ein paar Ausnahmen, die Du vor Deiner Bestellung überprüfen solltest:

1. It must be possible to open your balcony door. If it is a Fixed glazing, kann unser Außenrollo nicht montiert werden.
2. Balcony doors with Skylight: Ober- bzw. Unterlichter sind zusätzliche Fenstereinheiten oberhalb oder unterhalb Deines Hauptfensters. Häufig ist die Montage unseres Außenrollos trotzdem möglich. Kontaktiere uns jedoch unbedingt vor Deiner Bestellung. Auch hier gilt: Das Oberlicht muss sich öffnen lassen.
3. Stick rollover: Der Stocküberschlag ist die äußerste Erhebung Deines Fensterrahmens. Bei Kunststofffenstern meist ca. 1,5 - 2,5 cm. Wichtig: Falls ein Dichtungsgummi vorhanden ist, bitte mit messen. Ist Dein Stocküberschlag larger than 2.5 cm please contact us via the contact form. 4. Wooden balcony doors with rain railA rain rail is a thin metal profile on your window frame. It replaces the hanger and is designed to prevent water from entering the window. A CLIP'N'SHADE can often be fitted anyway - please contact us in any case using the contact form. You can find a picture of a rain rail here:
   
5. Balcony doors with weatherboard: Ein Wetterschenkel ist ein ausladendes Profil am Fensterflügel, dass das Eindringen von Wasser in das Fenster verhindern soll. Eigentlich eine tolle Sache, behindert jedoch den Einbau unseres Rollos. Ragt der Wetterschenkel über das Profil des Fensterrahmens hinaus, kann unser CLIP‘N‘SHADE Außenrollo leider nicht montiert werden. Ein Bild eines Wetterschenkels findest Du hier:
