With the rechargeable radio motor, you can extend your external roller blind easily, quickly and at no great cost. The highlight: you can also retrofit your existing CLIP'N'SHADE roller blind with our motor component and your roller blind will move as if by magic at the touch of a button.
How does it work?
- The cost-effective option:
Are you a handyman and have the necessary tools at home? Then you can easily install the motor extension yourself. Clear instructions and an accompanying installation video explain what needs to be done when installing the motor. Your household should include the following tools: screwdriver, tape measure/ruler, cordless screwdriver and metal drill. Your existing external roller blind must be removed for the conversion. - The quick option:
You can also send us the cassette and the connecting profile of your external roller blind. We will then carry out all the work in the factory and you will receive your external roller blind back within a week. However, this will incur extra costs of €50 for shipping and labor. - The smart option:
You order your external roller blind directly with a motor drive. This is the perfect compromise between a lower price and less effort. You will receive your external roller blind completely pre-configured within a week and can install it as normal.
Once installed, you can control the roller blind from any room in your home using the remote control supplied. For example, you can stay comfortably on the sofa and no longer have to get up or clear your windowsill and open the window to operate your roller blind. This also has another advantage, as it prevents the heat from outside from penetrating the inside of your home.
The motor battery has a capacity of up to 350 load cycles - this corresponds to up to one year, depending on use. Neither the external roller blind nor the motor need to be removed to charge the battery. Simply connect the motor to the charger and the charging process begins. This takes approx. 4-6 hours.
