Motor operation (retrofitting with existing roller blind)

ATTENTION: The motor cannot be installed on roller blinds for balcony doors.

This product is only for when you want to send in your existing external roller blind to protect against heat and we retrofit the motor at our factory. Incl. shipping costs to the factory and return shipment to you!

This is what the process looks like:

1. You remove your external roller blind and only pack the cassette (the upper component which also contains the heat protection fabric).
2. You will receive an e-mail with the label from us within one working day of purchase. Please print this out and stick it on the box. Then please hand it in at the nearest DPD parcel station. You can also find them here: https://www.dpd.com/de/de/pickup-paketshops/paketshop-finden/
3. Your cassette will arrive at our factory after approx. 1-2 days transportation time and will then be converted within 5-10 working days.
4. We will send you the finished cassette including remote control, charging cable (USB-C) and instructions.
5. Now you can install your roller blind as normal and operate it with ease using the remote control after teaching the end positions.

Compatibility:

• The motor cannot be installed on balcony doors. The maximum roller blind height at which the motor can be installed is 160 cm.
• Not compatible with the motor
• Not compatible with smart home applications

The motor component includes a battery-powered radio motor, a charger and a radio remote control (433 MHz). The motor is conveniently charged using the charging cable supplied. The roller blind does not need to be dismantled for this, but can simply be connected to the charger. The charging time is approx. 4 hours.

The motor is operated via the supplied radio remote control. This is already programmed to the motor when you receive it and can reach the motor from any room in your home.
